The Directorate of Infrastructural development aims to participate in central and local governance realms of complementing infrastructural development of roads, and the provision of affordable and suitable housing for needy families. The Directorate shall endeavor to engage in advocacy of the mining industry in URR. For the development of commerce and business in the URR, the directorate aims to meaningfully and significantly contribute towards the expansion and development of local markets and “Lumos” in URR. The directorate aims to improve the social life of people of URR through the development of playgrounds, and preservation of our environment, and the development of parks and gardens for recreational purposes. These activities cumulatively are aimed at enriching the lives of the people of URR.

This committee aims for the development of commerce, and for free and uninhibited movement of goods and people, roads are fundamental towards this aim. The roads committee aims to provide complementary technical, and know-how knowledge for the development and maintenance of feeder, and trunk roads in URR. In this endeavor, the committee intends to work collaboratively with Basse Area Council and other stakeholders.

As mining is in its infant stages in URR, the committee aims to engage in the further development of mining for the ultimate gains it may bring to the region in the form of employment and other associated gains.

This committee aims to engage in the further structural and organizational development of the indigenous market (Lumos) of URR. This committee aims to help in the added creation and development of micro-businesses and the participation of these businesses in the “Lumos”. The committee aims to endeavor to assist in business development by helping small businesses with advice and business training activities.

The committee aims to engage in the preservation of our natural surroundings with the creation of playgrounds, parks, and gardens. Playgrounds go to enrich the lives of both young and old. The recreational value of these parks and playgrounds will add to enriching the lives of the people of URR, and will add to further the preservation of our environment through greening efforts of planting trees.
